“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep'. In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

God Never Stops Working

Sit back, relax for a minute, pull up a chair, count your blessings. Can you count in the past year how many times you have approached God and asked for assistance through prayer? Are you one who wonders, Does God even answer prayers anymore?

I assure you this, he surely does. I can tell you of ten prayers he has answered in my life in the past month alone. I am fortunately blessed, I assume, but perhaps it is more than that. Perhaps it is due to that when I enter into supplication with my Lord, I come with an open and honest heart, exposing my weaknesses to Him, honestly seeking his guidance. There is an underlying problem to all of this though, some of us seek different answers for the same issues. This is where we must have 100% faith the Gods will is perfect. We are not here on earth to understand everything that takes place. Much like a cook at McDonalds is not there to understand the entire corporate Hierarchy, he is there to cook. Well my friends, we are here to worship, to trust and to pray that His will be done, that lives are changed and that our eyes are opened unto the truth!!!!

  1. He works in mysterious ways and even though our wants don’t always match up to what He knows we need, He always takes care of us and eventually we see that what we wanted we didn’t need.
